This is my second stay at Phyllis’s space. She is a great host! She is very responsive and communicates well. I arrived late from my travels and in the rain, so Phyllis had my room unlocked, the key inside, and made sure I had clear instructions where to park to minimize my time checking in. She treats you like one of the family.

The Rockwood Motor Court has been around since 1929, and was renovated by Phyllis and Tim in 2019. Their love for Americana and for Route 66 will stay as timeless as the Motor Court itself. This is an amazing piece of history that has been loving curated by two delightful people. If you want an insight into this bit of history this is place! The listing matched exactly to what I found upon arrival. I was also met with a wealth of information, recommendations, and genuine warmth. Thank you!! You guys made an amazing weekend for me. Please keep doing what you do, and allowing this experience to be so affordable to those on the road. I can’t wait to come back.
