The air bnb was a little small but very beautiful and looked just like the picture for a last minute find I will say it was perfect for me and my girl, as a small get away. The lake view was my favorite part of the place it was very peaceful and no one bothered you it was quiet and perfect. Although I had one lil issue that was resolved in a timely manner Karen was a great host always answered and even fixed our problem with a gift as a sorry. I would say I will definitely book with Karen again.

My family will definitely book this location again. It appears to be in the middle of nowhere, but it's less than 10 minutes away from all the amenities of a city. We were visiting family in Manchester and Ellington for Christmas. We appreciated having a place to ourselves and being relatively close to everyone. The house is relatively close to the road (45 MPH), so I wouldn't recommend this for families with young children. The parking/driveway situation (there's a shared turn-around with neighbors that you can't block) was challenging for our big truck but reasonable for our car. The house itself is old, with slanted floors and smaller bathrooms, bedrooms, and kitchen compared to current construction. However, the bathrooms were clean and had plenty of hot water. The kitchen had almost everything we could have wanted; it needed more food storage space and less glassware. I would recommend this place (but just not over the week of Christmas- that's our time). ;-)

Karen was absolutely great! The place was perfect and exactly as described and had everything needed! The pictures don’t do the real views justice… absolutely beautiful!

The cottage on Bolton lake was perfect. Beautiful view and perfect location. I will be staying there again. Kitchen is well stocked and ready for anything you want to prepare.

Karen’s lakeside cottage was a great place for my wife and I to stay while we visited family in the area, and just a short drive to the Hartford area to do some major shopping. We would definitely stay at Karen’s place again.
