Located near to the top of National Trust owned Hardown Hill with direct access to it, it has fantastic heathland walks on the doorstep with stunning views over the Marshwood Vale and across to nearby Langdon Woods, the Golden Cap Estate and down to the coast. The cabin features wraparound Millboard decking, a contemporary kitchen and shower room and large open plan living area. The Tree House is located within the grounds of our family home and is situated approximately 50 meters behind the main house where we live with our five children. It has it's own access and parking area which is located at the front of the house. Its unique setting is accessed via 56 steps so the chalet is unsuitable for anyone requiring disabled access or without a reasonable level of fitness. With over 60 square metres of living area and featuring one spacious double bedroom with king sized bed and walk in shower-room, the open plan living, kitchen and dining area has fantastic views over to Charmouth, Lyme Regis and the sea from the large picture windows and sliding doors that open on to the deck. Energy is generated from an air source heat pump with underfloor heating throughout and there is a well-equipped kitchen perfect for self-catering and enjoying the sun setting over the Marshwood Vale. The rear of the property looks out on to secluded woodland creating a cosy winter bolthole which in springtime is surrounded by bluebells and the sights and sounds of local wildlife including deer, badgers, buzzards and owls. There are rare and protected species living on the hill such as Dartford Warblers and Lesser Horseshoes bats and in summer the magical whirring sound of Nightjars can often be heard. The bedroom features a large skylight above the bed with electronic opening and blind so on a clear night you can enjoy sleeping under the stars.
