The cottage is in a great location with an amazing view, and there are lots of comforting elements to the home to help you relax (like the hot tub and the great sitting areas!) If you are looking to unwind and soak in some dock time, I highly recommend that you book here, we visited in the Fall and it was beautiful.

Hello fellow travellers I hope the following review helps provide some further details in making your choice. We stayed at Faye's cottage early July . The description and photos understate how nice the cottage is both inside and outside. To start with, it's very easy to find with just a couple of turns off the 520. On the outside, this stretch of the lakefront has a gentle slope down to the lake so those with mobility issues, with a bit of assistance, can get down to the docks to participate in the fun. The deck at the house is larger than you see in the pictures and has top notch furniture, so a great place for morning coffee and it'll be in the shade until noon since the back of the cottage with the deck is almost purely west facing into the afternoon and setting sun. With that said, it does get hot on the back deck in the afternoon and for those seeking the shade, there are patches on the back lawn or on the lower level under the deck that face out nicely to the lake The lake water in early July was +75F so very nice and I do recommend wearing water shoes of some kind since there are rocks and some sharp objects on the lake bottom (i.e. sticks, rocks, what look like mussels, etc). Inside, the layout has a couple of short staircases connecting the bedrooms to the kitchen/livingroom and also in the lower level. Just noting this in case you have someone in your party with mobility issues (i.e. uses a walker/cane, etc) Once down on the lower level, it's a straight walk out to the back and with a bit of help onto the duckwalk and to the dock The above is just a heads up. More importantly and as I started this note, the cottage far exceeded our expectations. There are three "living" area, two living rooms upstairs and the pool table/games room downstairs, so excellent for larger groups/families to spread out, whether it's board games in one room, pool/ping pong players downstairs and someone in another room quietly tucked into a book. The kitchen has a gas stove/dishwasher/espresso maker and is fully stocked with platters, plates, pots and pans and lots of unique items. . There is also a second fridge downstairs. As a bonus, the cottage was fully stocked with "supplies" like dishwasher pucks, trash bags, laundry soap, etc. Throughout the cottage, there are numerous unique items and touches that make the place have that super cottage feel. We were fortunate with a week of hot weather, however, I could see how this place would work well in any season or weather I guess in summary, great place, sparkling clean, lots of unique touches and a great week for my family Safe travels for all B
