We had a great time at the AirBnb! It is a unique house in a beautiful, peaceful setting. We loved sitting outside by the fireplace, and it is a very dog-friendly place. It is in the woods, so there were some critters inside (not a problem for us, but if you don't want that then this may not be a good fit).

Really a neat spot to stay. Love that it was very secluded and in a quiet area. The sauna was a very cool bonus! The location is so convenient to everything around Harper’s Ferry. Would absolutely come back.

We were happy to return again to Mark's place, which our family always loves - the house is thoughtfully designed and full of everything you need to make the stay fun, the outdoor space is perfect for games and playing with the dog, and the location is convenient to so many fun ways to spend the day. Mark is a gracious host who goes out of his way to make our stays stress-free.

Mark’s place was a great place to get away with a few friends for the weekend! Well worth it overall. Here’s my take on the pros and a few areas for consideration: Pros: -Beautiful location -Close to Harpers Ferry -Outdoor amenities - the sauna was a hit and the firepit was perfectly placed for a nice view -Beds were decently comfy -Nicely stocked kitchen with a few gifts thrown in like coffee and eggs for breakfast Areas for consideration/awareness -It can host up to 6 but just know that the kitchen and living space can accommodate 4 guests easily but the kitchen table is too small for 6 and required us to get nice and cozy in the living room - fine but just fyi -the stairs are quite steep as mentioned in other reviews. -recommend bringing some extra cozy blankets for the bed - you have to make your own beds just fyi -the ladybug infestation in early spring is a LOT of bugs so if they might bother you heads up. Did not bother us much. Overall great trip, would stay here again

Beautiful place. Saw a ton of deer. Cozy and secluded but full of amenities and very close to Harpers Ferry. Old school house in a fantastic area. Really enjoyed the sauna and making a big fire in the fire pit on a 38 degree January evening. All in all, we really loved this place and will be back.
