We were two couples who enjoyed three nights at The Shed. The accommodation was perfect for us with plenty of space to spread out - both indoors, and outside in the private walled yard/garden. It was so peaceful and quiet too. We appreciated the communication with Niall and Polly in the run-up to our visit, and the warm welcome that they gave us. The Shed is fully kitted out with everything that you need for self-catering holiday. This would be also be a great place for a family of three or four to rent, especially given that there are so many attractions in this beautiful corner of North Yorkshire. One of our sisters is already planning to make a booking for herself, her partner, teenage daughter and dog in 2024.

Wonderful weekend in The Shed! Great location, beautiful space, lovely host. An absolute hidden gem for a few tranquil days. Ideal for dogs too. Nothing overlooked

Excellent, well equipped accommodation in a great location close to the village (20 min walk) We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable making use of the high quality facilities available. Polly, was a thoughtful and helpful host providing milk, eggs, wine and fresh flowers, which were greatly appreciated. Would definitely use again if return to the area.

The Shed is a truly welcoming and very well appointed space nestled within a working farm. We felt very secure, and very welcome by all, including the goats. Polly was very quick to respond to all communication, and even brought over some stock for my soup as I forgot that vital ingredient! We enjoyed a walk around the beautiful farmland, and really felt like we had got away from it all. Thanks so much for a great break.

Superb place to stay, perfect for walks with the dogs and idyllic accommodation. Would definitely recommend!
