Please read this review carefully before booking. We are travelers who stay in short term rentals like this all over the world instead of living in one place so we we might be called power users and as such have extensive experience with hosts and properties. This host is one of the worst we have encountered and the property is not how it appears in photos provided. There are some positives, so don't think we are all negative. For example, the property has new furnishings, a comfortable bed if you don't mind two singles side by side, and it backs to a large park. Buses run not far from the property to make up for its distance to the underground stations. It has many of the kitchen utensils one would need to not eat out all the time. It has wired and wireless internet that can be used for purposes other than streaming because it's not fast enough for streaming consistently. The host meets you in person and shows you around. The negatives fall into three main categories: safety issues, property finish and the host's attitude. Safety issues are paramount: the front door has no door knob, just a spring-latch that can be slipped from the outside and no other double-lock; the kitchen sink cabinet has an open pipe that drains into the cabinet and the owner has a towel that catches the water, smelling up the kitchen but not stopping the leak; the kitchen water never heats up enough to be sanitary; the shower fixtures are loose on the wall and there is no cold water to the shower so it can scald; the bathroom sink fixtures are backward (hot on the cold side); the unit's windows don't lock; there is exposed loose wiring; and the electrical outlet or the microwave plug is not secured so it doesn't stay plugged in. The property finish is summed up as decrepit at best. An example is the threshold into the unit, which is an unfinished board that leads to a painted plywood board on the entry floor, which then leads to newer badly installed wood flooring. That wood flooring ends before the bathroom floor begins and there is nothing in that three-inch threshold except shelf paper stuck on the floor (not kidding!). Another example is bare light bulbs in the kitchen and bathroom -- just an ugly industrial fluorescent with no cover in the kitchen and a hanging bulb in the bathroom. There is one hand towel rack in the entire bathroom. The toilet sits away from the wall with pipes running all over the place with an opening into the walls of the tub and no toilet roll holder. The shower has the wrong length curtain so the water floods the bathroom floor. There is a derelict washing machine in the kitchen the host uses as a counter top. The walls are sloppily painted white in most areas but there are nevertheless stained walls, too. The window frames and balconies are dirty and there is junk on the balconies. And the wardrobe and bed are new but the wrong size for the room so you can't walk around. The host pretends to care about the property but when asked to repair things and offered to help her through it because we were long-term, she instead requested we leave the property immediately, using a bogus excuse of racism when we used the euphemism that the property looked third world because she once lived in a third-world country, as if that matters. Little did she know that we are minorities ourselves, have also lived in third-world countries and our family is both mixed race and mixed nationality; but more importantly, it's not racist to say that a property looks poor. I would not stay in this property at this price even if it looks inexpensive. There are plenty of other places to stay.

It was a good space for the price we paid. Issues were easily resolved via text. I would say the place is slightly smaller than it appears to be on the photos
