Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Host is friendly and lots of ranch animals on site. Our trip would be greater if we knew better and packed right. We knocked out two stars because 1) inaccurate location guidance - do not search the address they provided. We use that address that Evolve provided, it took us to a curvy and dead-end road in the woods. And we did not arrive around 9 pm and car almost fall off the cliff in a very dark road with no lights. This will be even more dangerous if it’s winter time and the road is icy. Pls have this corrected ASAP. We called Monique and she was super helpful to pick up the phone and told us to search Urban Saddle Ranch instead. 2) the cabin is not clean. Stained mattress, smelly sheets and pillows, pet hair all over the furniture. 3) IMO - the place does not have basic offering as an Airbnb stay, no blankets (they only offer thin sheets), no salt/pepper/olive oil, no hand soap/shampoo/body wash, no WiFi and the area does not have strong reception.

Cabin was very nice. Clean and nice decor. Relaxing atmosphere. Don't rent one of the attached cabins unless you can walk a bit. There is no parking at the cabin, you have to park at the top of the hill. Communication is poor. I tried to reach them about late check in and they didn't get back to me for several hours, after we were on the road. Check in is confusing, as there is no signage. And there was no communication about where to go with questions/concerns. Best to take an suv if you can because it is down a long, rugged dirt road.

Urban Saddle Ranch is a sweet little getaway - Monique and her animals are the excellent host & entertainment (for all ages!) A few things a new traveler might like to know (especially if you have littles) - first the main cabin is as soon as you enter it isn’t marked or anything but if you happen to be confused! Also, bring some sort of multipurpose cleaner or wipe, maybe an extra rag or burp cloth, and some extra blankets & pillows for comfort depending on the season. Be prepared for stink bugs & spiders, we are in their homes too! Overall our weekend stay was incredible. The cabin is super simple making it very cozy and easy to settle into. Walking the grounds over and over and watching the animals is all you really need, plus some good food and something to light your fire. Our 8 month old could have watched the horses and chickens the whole time and so could we! Take the time to walk raystown & go into town for the Wildflower Cafe.
