Location! Location! Location! 19 Beaton Street, Inverness - across the street from the Cabot Links Golf Course. PERFECT FOR LARGE GROUPS! Inverness is truly a special and peaceful place with so much natural beauty to enjoy. Hear the continuous sounds of waves crashing in on the shores nearby from the house. An incredibly beautiful part of the world & you will have a wonderful experience. Feel at home with family & friends in this newly renovated cottage setting near the beach & the golf course. The home is recently renovated with new furniture, four new top quality comfortable queen sized beds and a new double sofa bed in the living room. There are three bedrooms: two rooms have their own queen sized bed and one double room has two queens in it. There is ample closet space for everyone. There is room for ten people- eight people in the new queen sized beds and two more on the double sofa bed. Perfect for a golf foursome to each have their own queen size bed if they wish. There is also a good sized “mudroom/rear entrance” to store golf clubs and beach gear. There is TV satellite cable and internet. There are full sized laundry facilities in the cottage. There is one bathroom with a tub enclosure. There is a fenced front yard for kids to play or for adults to play some washer toss. You are guaranteed to enjoy this incredibly beautiful part of the world and have a wonderful experience. Feel at home with family and friends in this newly renovated cottage setting near the beach and the golf course. There is a deck facing the water with a new BBQ and eating area.

This place is a gem in Inverness. Close to everything local. Place is exactly as it describes. Really nicely well taken care of place and lots of options for sleep.

Inverness is home to the top ranked golf courses in Canada – Cabot Cliffs (ranked first) and Cabot Links ( ranked fourth) and the number eight ranked course, Cape Breton Highland Links in Ingonish (about 2 hours away). Inverness is one of the top destinations for golfers in the world. Golfers can park their car for the weekend and just walk across the street to golf then walk back to this newly renovated home. You can walk to the nearby grocery store, restaurants and pubs for the evening or take a walk to the beach via the new beach access a block away or go down the beach road at the other end of town. Stroll the gorgeous boardwalk nestled between the beach and the golf course or along the beach itself to catch some of the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises in the world-they are stunning! Go to the local pubs and restaurants to catch the same amazing sunsets each night while listening to some of the best live musical talent in the world. During the summer there are music festivals and dances nightly. The fall brings the internationally acclaimed Celtic Colours music festival (52 concerts in 35 communities) throughout Cape Breton with top artists from all over the world.
There are boat tours of the shoreline, deep sea fishing, whale-watching tours, and kayaking tours. Divers can go to local islands and explore or can locate many sunken vessels from World War Two Corvettes to old galleons which have already been stripped of their cannon balls and other treasures.
There are nearby country markets with delicious locally grown food and Cape Bretoners are well known for baking homemade delicious cookies, cakes, squares, fudge and many more types of treats. Enjoy the abundant fresh seafood and all the local recipes.
Guests can park their car(s) then walk across the street to golf at Cabot Links or take the shuttle to Cabot Cliffs. Walk around town to explore the beach in town or go explore other nearby beaches to take the family on outings or picnics or beautiful scenic drives.
Other incredible beaches include nearby West Mabou Beach, St. Rose (Evan's Beach) and Port Hood Beach. The beaches on the Northumberland Strait are the warmest waters north of the Carolinas as a result of the Gulf Stream with water temperatures often over 70 degrees.
Walkers and cyclists take the Trans-Canada Trail with views of the Inverness Harbour and the rolling hills and valleys towards Mabou. There are endless trails in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park on the Cabot Trail. Hikers can drive to the incredibly scenic Skyline Trail along he Cabot Trail coastline, go to Gypsum Mines Park in Cheticamp, Magic Cove up the Banks Road or drive through the beautiful Margaree Valley to hike Egypt Falls. Cyclists ride the trail to Mabou to hook up with the Mabou trail system. Or if you want a challenge and are an advanced cyclists there are more hills and gorgeous views on the Cabot Trail than you can imagine.
After watching David Suzuki's nature of Things episode called "Trek of the Titans" people are travelling to Dingwall to watch the enormous 1000 pound leatherback turtles that make their trek every year from Trinidad and Tobago to Cape Breton following schools of jellyfish. There are several whale watching tours out of Cheticamp and Pleasant Bay as well or you may run into a local fisherman in Inverness who you can convince to take you out for a tour.
