We really enjoyed our stay at this place! It was such a relaxing and peaceful vacation at this home. The house is very quiet, private, with a beautiful design. This was our 2nd time here and we highly recommend this house.

Sad that we hadn't known in advance that we could not enjoy any of the fireplaces, nor the beach access or to know that there were no blinds/curtains. These are significant details that should be highlighted before payment is taken from prospective guests. Overall, beautiful location, nice house, not particularly comfortable and not as you think advertised. It's not worth the cost; there are better places to stay on Orcas.

Home was a beautiful home in a secluded area of the island. But there was a couple of problem that we’re not in the description. The main reasons we booked this home was because of its outdoor fireplace and beach access. The fireplace said it was broke and we were not informed of this. Even though it looks like it function properly and they just didn’t want anybody to use it.. Second the main reason we booked this place was because it was on the water and had access to a beach. We hiked down the trail only to find out the access was closed. This was very upsetting that the two main reasons we booked this home we could not even use! The last thing for people to be aware of is one stated before in a review there are no shades and to bring a sleeping mask because it gets bright very early in the morning and two there’s a lot of steps to get down to the Home. This would’ve not been a problem however my eight-year-old father had a hard time going in and out. If we would’ve known all these things we probably would’ve booked a different place.

This house is beautiful and architectural with all of its windows and wonderful views of the bay and scenery. The kitchen was well appointed, everything was very clean and the furniture was very comfortable. The location of the house is very convenient, less than 10 minutes away from Eastsound and close to some great hiking. One thing to be aware of is the windows do not have curtains, which can cause a few issues. The first is that since the downstairs bedroom doesn’t have curtains you can see most of the room from the deck by the kitchen and coming down the stairs outside. The other is if you are staying at this house during summer, it does face east, so there will be a fair amount of light in both of the bedrooms at about 5am. If you want to sleep in, a face mask may be required. Altogether, a wonderful place to stay but a little bright in the morning.

This house is very beautiful and clean. It had a gorgeous view, pretty lighting and everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Bed linens were high quality. The master mattress was high quality and comfortable. The second bedroom mattress was not nearly as nice. Check out is at 10am, which is early and not convenient with the ferry schedule challenge. The biggest issue is the parking and stairs. There are 26 steps to the front door and a sloping driveway. Carrying things in and out is challenging and not appropriate for people with mobility issues.
