Ziad's lovely home is even nicer in person than in the photos. The views are amazing!! We also really appreciated his staff, housekeeper/cook, and onsite maintenance support. The house is in a gated community which adds to the safety and comfort, but it is on a steep hill off the main road. Ziad's directions and instructions were very helpful. Overall we had a sweet family reunion week. We highly recommend this vacation spot.

Ziad and his team of help at the home were amazing! We had the house cleaner cook one night for us, which was lovely, tasty local faire! The house has a local artsy flair, and plenty of room for all 8 of us at the home. The pool and view were spectacular! The area very safe with a gate guard and house manager who lived on sight, in a separate area, and there was fresh coffee made every day. He was wonderful. Walking to the beach is on the main road, and it is hilly when walking back to the house. We did not mind this, as we did not rent a car, but hired a driving company who were outstanding, to take us to locations which were further away, Playa Flamingo, Tamarindo, and Rincon de la Vieja. Fabulous place! Pura Vida!

This house has amazing views and the housekeeper and landscaping guy were amazing too. Great for being close to beach, but being able to retreat later. Ziad was a gracious, helpful and communicative host. He helped with all we asked about and the house was ready to go with food and cocktail fixings too. We will return.

Ziad’s place was a wonderful place to stay. The house was well laid out and it had everything we needed. We hardly even left! The view was the best part, it was stunning!!!

Rented this for a family vacation based on the pool, the view, and the bedroom configuration. Price was a little high but it was a premium week ( New Years), there was not a lot available, and it looked safe. When we walked in the views were spectacular. Pictures do not do it justice. Positively spectacular. The views made it all worth it! It was our first time in Costa Rica, so we did not know what to expect. This house is in an extremely safe gated community. No worries AT ALL on safety while we were there. Convenient grocery shopping nearby. The owner very kindly left us some snacks and drinks to settle in, as well as a very nice bottle of champagne to celebrate New Years-thank you so much that was very kind! New Year’s Eve was fantastic from here, lots of fireworks on the beaches below. Have I mentioned how great the views were? Honestly, one of the most beautiful views ever. Owner also arranged a boat captain for a fishing trip, where we caught a really nice sailfish. Groundskeeper stays out of your way but is available if you need anything. Does a very nice daily cleanup outside. And the owner had a housekeeper (Auderuiz) who did a great job as well as some laundry for us. She was so super friendly that we hired her to cook for us on several nights…. She picked up and prepped the food, and made great ceviche, fish tacos, chicken, and pork for us. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for some local cooking, and she made it so easy! And the views…..Amazing. In fairness, I will come up with some negatives as well. House is a little dated. But since we spent as much time as we could outside near the pool and the views, we honestly didn’t care. The guest house down below could have better lighting for walking down to at night. And we never got the downstairs tv to work right…. But it just made us stay out and enjoy the view! Some additional kitchen items ( aluminum foil, zip lock bags for leftovers, etc. as well as a few bigger plastic cups that we could use near pool without worrying about glass) would be helpful, but he is a new renter and this will all likely be there for you! And a little additional information on hand regarding nearby restaurants, shopping, beaches, etc. would be helpful. Owner was great about emailing/texting me all this info as well, but nice to have it there on hand. Truly had a great time here, would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to hang out in a very safe place and enjoy one of the greatest views of their life. Pure vida, wish I was back there!
