The most amazing glamping experience you’ll ever have! We were so grateful for Cat giving us the option to come a day earlier as the weather wasn’t going to be on our side and we had the most perfect, calmest day so thank you!! The whole site is well equipped and beautifully set out. We’ll be recommending to all our friends and fam next summer

What A Place!!! This place is easily one of the best Airbnbs my wife and I have ever been at. We stayed there for 3 days. The drive to the tent took us just over 3 hours (about half of which are very windy roads). We went in a car although Cathryn recommends a 4wd but did not have any issues as such. Just over an hour of the drive is on gravel roads (which can be a little bumpy at times). We had 3 perfect, cloudless days when we stayed there. The night sky experience was the best we've ever had and the sunset picnic spot was breathtaking. The wifi was great as well, allowing us to do a little bit of work while we stayed there. Cathryn was the perfect host - giving us complete privacy while checking in occasionally via message to make sure we had everything we need and were comfortable. Overall, we would say, if you're visiting the Marlborough Sounds, do not miss this experience!

Cathryn was an incredible host. Herself and Gary catered to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The property was amazing and had everything we needed. They were very kind and accommodating

Like others have said, if you're looking at this listing and wondering if you should book...just do it! Its more than just accomadation its so cup filling with breath taking nature filled views every where you look! Its hard to put into words the beauty and luxury of the tent. The rain head shower! The hot tub! The most incredible bed! And the amazing view! We went fishing and caught fresh cod for dinner, then sat in the hot tub and listened to the stags roaring in the hills above. Its magic!

I write this after few days that my wife and I left this paradise and our hearts are filled with great joy and peace from our few days there and also a bit sad that we had to leave this heaven on earth which we greatly miss( even the weird sounds from the penguins at night). Everything was perfect and very well thought, Cathryn is very respectful and attentive and this airbnb deserves its 5 stars. The most beautiful drive and most beautiful place !
