Located within 15 minutes drive from Scarlet Martinez International Airport in Rio Hato, Playa Blanca Beach & Lagoon Residences is a growing community with several amenities all within walking distance. The Town Center Plaza includes a small grocery store for the basic necessities, restaurants (pizza, steak, coffee), and a tour operator. You can enjoy the Lagoon, the largest outdoor salt water pool in Central America and the Carribean, jetskiing, banana boat rides, water slides, and kayaks. There is also a spa as well as tennis and basketball courts.
The Super99 (groceries), dollar store, pharmacy, Novey (hardware/home basics) and car rental are located a 5 minute drive down the road. It's a short drive to several local golf courses, including Jack Nicklaus designed 18 hole course located within nearby Buenaventura resort property.
In addition to the Town Center, several restaurants are located nearby including Pippa's, a beach front bar and restaurant (we recommend the chicken bomb), Xoko (international cuisine), Tai Kai Sushi (offers teppanyaki, located in the Buenaventura resort). You can also try the restaurants at the nearby hotels such as the Riu and the Royal Decameron.

Although it's not necessary, we do recommend renting a car to fully take advantage of local amenities including the local grocery store, restaurants, and shopping in nearby Coronado (30 minute drive). You can easily arrange to have the car rental service pick you up from and drop you off at the airport. There is a dedicated parking spot available for the unit.
Alternatively, taxis are also available from the airport and on the property by the hotel lobby.
Panama City is approximately 120km away (roughly 2-hour drive depending on traffic).
