Sunny's place makes a great basecamp for a weekend or month long climbing trip at the Red. You can't beat an airbnb with it's own small but packed climbing gym. Of all my airbnb stays, Sunny's friendly personality stands out above all the other airbnb hosts that I have met. I am not taking anything away from other hosts, it is just that Sunny really made us feel like distant family and that he was genuinely glad to see us arrive. We certainly will stay again and I highly recommend his place to any adventurous and down to earth people looking to stay in the area.

This is my second time staying here! The hostel is functional, clean, and offers the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to climb, hike, get groceries, etc. We used the adjacent gym to warm up and stretch. If you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly place to rest your head for a night or two, this hostel is a perfect choice.

Sunny was a great host. Very communicative and responsive. The place is as described, clean, and with the amenities as noted in the description. This is a great place to stay whether you are a climber or not.

Sunny's hostel couldn't be any more convenient for a comfortable nights rest near the Red. We were very close to Muir Valley which is where we did our climbing during the trip. Sunny was communicative and available whenever we had questions. The gym is also a nice perk! If you don't want to camp, Sunny's hostel is a great option.
