The apartment is in a stunning location - with the views of the Bay of Angels - really fabulous. Also really interesting historical villas around and the rocks where people swim are really beautiful and adds to the experience. We walked to the old town and the Promenade easily - and its very close to that magical restaurant that Philippe lists in the listing. Also very close to a grocery store (easy to get to by walking). Only missing more "local" shops and stores, but you can get that from Old Town and the areas surrounding the Port. Apartment inside and on the balcony area are absolutely as described - with a very well equipped kitchen (everything worked well - contrary to some of the reviews - do try the Miele steamer - its wonderful!). We recommend using the shutters at night in the bedrooms - keeps out the (very minor) noise from night swimmers and the light. I also suggest that you ask Philippe about the status of other apartment renos (some noise).

This home offers an unbelievable view of the water and accommodates adult couples well with its floor plan. It was located well for walking to the beach, restaurants, grocery store and a even Old Town Nice. The harbor view offers all sorts of watching activities from yachts to ferries to swimmers and the fabulous binoculars added to watching. It was a terrific home base for a family wedding.

The view from this property is stunning, and cannot be beat. If that's the only thing that matters to a travel party, this is THE place to get. As a multigenerational family party, we found the place challenging. Elevator is not useful, can only fit three 27" suitcases and 1 adult, would often get stuck on someone else's floor, leaving grandparents to have to use the steep stairs to get from apt to street level. Very intimidating parking lot on the rooftop that's perched over the Mediterranean w/very limited room to maneuver. One wrong move and it feels like you'll fall into the sea. Our party also happened upon a time when the building was under (illegal) construction, so there were sewage smells in the apt, front access and public parking lot gates left open. Public beach access is on both sides of the building so lookout for weekend party people and teenage make out sessions. Stove was broken, only 1 burner worked. Just was not the upscale experience expected @ this price point.

A truly unique apartement that is spectacular and fantastic in every aspect. To be able to find this kind of property on Airbnb is almost to good to be true. It not only added to our experience, it was a big part of it. We were two families (8 people, grown up kids) and it was just ideal with its space and separate bath rooms. We had some problems with the kitchen equipment and electricity and could have needed some more help there, but all in all it is an apartement to be rememered and we would love to come back. Again and again and again.
