The place hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest. Though the host was immediately contacted about the issue, after 80 minutes of wait for a response that never came, the only alternative was to involve Airbnb for a full refund, after documenting the deplorable state of the place and the absolute disregard by the host.

I'll start by saying awesome location! if it wasn't for the very slow responsiveness, I would have given a higher rating...... window was broken. couldn't shut it the first few nights. Had to crank up the heat until I finally got it to shut with help of person I traveled with .. no handsoap for bathroom. no washcloths. not enough towels. Had to make a Walmart run the first night. No where to put garbage that I had. This is where it leads into very slow responsiveness. Messaged through air bnb site Friday about where to put bags of garbage I had. no response all weekend on that. I had to put in closet which started to stink. Messaged host on Friday about where to put keys for checkout on late Sunday night. No response until I was ready to check out Sunday . I shot one more message right before I left, then finally got a response on where to put keys....... And btw, door was broken under sink when I got there.

provided check-in instructions didn't match the actual requirements, listing wifi information was incorrect, and info provided by text was also incorrect. dirty towels left in the shower, trash left in bins, used pizza box left in oven, food and debris trash on floor and between cushions so I had to sweep, found clothes/sewing pins while sweeping so potentially safety/health concern. no check-out instructions. overpriced; price competitive with a nice pet-friendly hotel in the area. only advantage is walkable to downtown. location is excellent though, one block from nice coffee shop and pleasant restaurants. generally safe area
