Simply the best Airbnb experience we ever had. Savio is the ultimate host, providing a first class level of service, available 24/7 with unparalleled kindness and generosity. He ensured our first visit to Matera was as good as it could possibly be : from a full fridge to restaurant suggestions and a half day tour of the fascinating UNESCO site - and so much more. Probably the nicest AirBnB I have every stayed at in terms of room amenities and attention to detail. Savio's apartment was thoughtfully prepared with every convenience including coffee, food, wine, towels, mood lighting, even smell! A delight for all the senses. Additionally, upon arrival Savio went out of his way to take us on a 45+ minute car tour of Matera through the centro storico ZTL zone (forbidden to drive except for residents). He is very proud of his city and it shows through his incredible hospitality. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend his place to anyone I know!
