The house is beautiful. The fireplace kept us warm and cozy while we caught up the first night. The bathrooms were great, the beds were comfortable. The street noise wasn’t as bad as described by others but we were prepared. Easily walkable and we tried several of the recommended restaurants. The Press Room, On Orange, Sukothai and all were really good. The work that has been done in this house keeps it’s old charm but with every modern convenience you could want. Parking was a bit of a challenge but that is what you get with location, so worth it for me. It was hard to leave

Honestly, we enjoyed the home and host. we are country folk so the city is different for us. be mindful of traffic as you try to enter or exit your vehicles. overall, we don't have complaints of the home or host. we can tell Ret truly cares for her guest.

Great place to stay! Gorgeous old home in Lancaster City that has all the beauty of an old home but great updates to keep it looking amazing and provide a comfortable place to stay. It's located in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance to restaurants and the heart of the city.

This was our second year visiting Lancaster for a fun weekend enjoying downtown, and this year’s accommodations didn’t disappoint. Home was beautiful and in a great location for taking advantage of all that Lancaster city has to offer!

Absolutely loved staying at this house! The furnishings in every room are amazing. The fireplace was so cozy on those chilly winter evenings! I was also prepared for the street parking to be tricky, but we had no issues. I did end up utilizing some of the ear plugs at night due to traffic/general street noise, but otherwise, the house was perfectly situated. Beds were very comfortable and the house had everything you could possibly need (and then some). We also stayed during an especially cold weekend in January, but the house kept very warm. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!
