When we booked this accommodation we couldn’t believe what we were getting. But when we arrived, the place was way better than expected. Usually in photos rooms look bigger and it’s always a little tighter than you expect. Not this house! Everything from the common are to the covered deck, to the bedrooms, to the pool was extremely spacious. The POOL, OMG. Was a life saver. It gets pretty hot in Uvita, and that pool was very welcomed treat when we would arrive back from an excursion, grocery shop, walk or even from the beach. It was absolutely perfect. The property,as well, was way more than we expected. This house was nestled on to a beautiful acreage ranch/ cattle farm. Beautiful cows, horses, scarlet macaws, parrots, toucans, white faced monkeys and numerous bird species would cross our paths daily while we were walking the grounds and chilling by the pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our time in Uvita. Don Oscar, the care taker was the best. Thanks Ileana

We loved our stay here so much. The pool is incredible. The wildlife is the most we’ve ever seen. The hosts are helpful and proactive. The house is spacious and has everything we needed. It’s a true jungle experience. This place is a gem. 💎

Excellent rapport qualité prix. Maison de style californien très grande. La cuisine est bien équipée. Grand atout d'avoir une laveuse et une sécheuse sur place. Très belle piscine (rénovée). Environnement superbe isolé des voisins. On a vu beaucoup d'animaux (aigles, haras, toucans et les singes capucins nous ont visité 5 jours complets. Wow! Près de playa Ballena. On peut s'y à pieds mais compter 15 à 20 minutes de marche. Terrain plat donc pas besoin de 4X4. La climatisation dans les chambres fonctionne très bien mais dans les pièces communes le climatiseur ne fonctionnait pas. Mais avec les trois climatiseurs des chambres avec les portes ouvertes et les ventilateurs, c'était OK même à 35C degrés dehors. Seul point négatif est le mobilier dans le salon et la cuisine qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la maison. Aussi la literie pourrait être renouvelée. Mais rien de majeur pour ce prix. Bref je recommande fortement.

Wonderful location. A little tricky to find at first because of how private it is, but once we found it we really enjoyed how peaceful and private the location is. Not far from town and there is a fun hidden walk to the north end of the beach if you like a little hike. At a brisk pace with kids, it takes just over an hour to walk back from the whale tail along the beach, down the trail, and back to the house. Oscar the local caretaker and farmer is very nice and friendly. Other reviews posted about this location are accurate when describing the building and the location.
