We were in town for games at UAB and this was a perfect location. Close to the university and lots of food options. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfy, plenty of comfy seating in the living room and the balcony was nice. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again when in town.

Pro: Nice parking lot behind the rental. The kitchen, all floors & bathrooms were very clean. Showers were nice and clean. Although we did not use them, the washer and dryer looked brand new. The AC quickly cooled off the house quickly. Con: The furniture was old & very uncomfortable. We could barely sit on the sofas for five minutes before we had to get up (sagging pull-out sofas), and the kitchen chairs were only slightly better. There are no hand towels - and only one dish towel. The kitchen lacked basic cooking supplies if you plan on eating in (no colander to drain pasta, no vegetable peeler, etc.). It sleeps 10, but only 3 coffee cups. Dishwasher did not work, and we were told "I'll notify management". No one contacted us again. We don't mind washing dishes by hand, but there was no drying rack (the dishwasher was dirty). Summary: Nice place if you plan on using it for sleeping and going downtown to restaurants, not comfortable to hang out.

the place was as advertised. Because it is part of a four plex the neighbors have a bit of an impact. One night was pretty noisy with music until 2 am. Overall pretty good place and well worth the per night cost.

Overall, our stay at this Airbnb was comfortable, though we missed some of the cozy touches that would make it feel like a true home away from home. The description and photos were accurate, and the property was well-maintained. However, we did find that noise from the downstairs neighbors was easily audible. On the upside, the host was quite responsive, and we appreciated the sample of consumables like coffee pods, dishwashing, and laundry soap, which lasted us a couple of days.
