The perfect neighborhood in White Salmon. This super clean one bedroom detached mother-in-law is a great place for a get away. Located just four flat blocks from downtown shopping, brewpub and other restaurants. Just two blocks from the grocery store. Hiking & biking trails right out the front door. Drive to downtown Hood River in 10 minutes. Kayaking and White Water Rafting on the White Salmon River is 15 minutes away. Hiking in the Gifford Pinchot & Mt. Hood National forest within 30 min 450 square foot house. 1 Bedroom, 1 bathroom. Roku TV. w/ Hulu, Netflix YouTubeTv and others. Great WiFi. Fully stocked kitchen utensils, microwave. We provide the following. Coffee, Tea, Shower Gel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Dryer, bath towel, Iron and Ironing board. Two off street parking spots are located just in front of the rental.

This is a great stay! You’re within walking distance to downtown White Salmon and a quick drive to Hood River. We felt very cozy and comfortable during our getaway. Hopefully we will be back!
This home was perfect for the two of us and our dog. It was adjacent to some baseball fields -- we hoped a game might take place on Saturday. No such luck, but it is early in the season. The house is within easy walking distance of a grocery store and downtown White Salmon. We are smitten with this town! it is small and accessible with plenty of restaurants and an excellent bakery. Great hiking areas are nearby with bursting wildflowers, incredible basalt formations, and intimate waterfalls. The "big city", Hood River, is just over the toll bridge. We prefer White Salmon, but there is a great art cooperative in Hood River (301) and funky bookstore (Artifacts -- Good Books, Bad Art). This area abounds with recreational opportunities: mountain biking, river kayaking, wind/kite surfing and hiking. Thank you, Doug, for sharing your space with us.

The perfect location! Walk to town in 5 minutes. We have a map of all the restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. A 10 minute loop around the neighborhood can provide breathtaking views of the river, Mt. Hood sunrises and sun sets. This is the quietest neighborhood in town 95% of the time. There are 3 ball fields located just across the street. They host soccer, Softball, and baseball games.
Most people walk or bike around town, and drive to their adventures. Cabs in the Gorge are sometimes hard to come by.

We own a growing business and sell our wares all over the Northwest. We love a good coffee maker, comfy bed and being able to walk to get a great meal. In our free time we love to get out and and travel to beautiful places.
