Cabin 9 was everything we had hoped. Our main reason for coming in March was to see the Northern Lights. For that we wanted a place out of town, where there were no distracting lights, and views all around. We got all that and more! The cabin was beautiful, tastefully furnished, with all sorts of extras. We were only four adults, so we had lots of room. More people would have been no problem. Everything was spotless and well maintained. The pictures show everything accurately. The endless views out of the extra large windows were amazing. The provided cappuccino machine was used every morning and evening and much appreciated. Of the seven nights there we did see the Northern Lights two nights from the upstairs landing by the exterior door. Our days were spend on the road seeing the beautiful country. Agusta was great to work with, and answered several questions for us, before our trip. We would love to come back in summer to see more of Iceland.

Agusta’s home was just beautiful and cozy and had everything we could need. Location was perfect to get a view of the northern lights. We had fun spinning some records on the turn table. Agusta was very responsive although we didn’t need for anything. Her guide book is very detailed with instructions for everything. Overall this was our favorite place to stay on our trip to Iceland.

We had such a wonderful stay at Cabin 9. Tucked away off of the main road, it was so private and optimal for seeing the Northern lights. The cabin was so beautifully decorated, modern yet cozy. We had a great couple of days here and the host, Augusta, was extremely responsive with any questions we had during our stay. Would love to come back and visit during the summertime. The outdoor decks have such nice amenities with a fireplace and grill for family cooking and would love to put them to good use!

Idyllic. Beautiful, peaceful views booked end by gorgeous sunrises and spectacular sunsets. Spacious, warm home fully appointed with delightful extras to make our stay especially meaningful. As my son said "perfect"! He especially liked the speciality coffee maker which got our morning of travel off to a great start. Augusta was especially responsive and caring. Her recommendations for places to dine. exceeded our expectations. My only criticism is that we didn't book enough time is this world's apart home. Thanks
