We stayed here with a group of 8 friends but there were only 7 beds. The 8th bed was a rolled mat on the floor. That person ended us sleeping on the couch. The beds are VERY hard too. Given the price it would have been better value & more comfortable for us to stay in a hotel. The one nice surprise was the live in caretaker who made wonderful masala chai & looked after us very well.

Our stay was enjoyable at this property. We had a group of 7 and the unit was spacious and clean. Each room had a connecting bathroom which we appreciated. We stayed here over New Years and the nighttime view from the balcony of the fireworks was really nice. The caretaker was quite friendly and made us all a very good breakfast. He also helped with our luggage and nearby errands. If you are looking for a more private experience, I would keep in mind that this is a semi-private listing as the caretaker stays on the property alongside the guests throughout the duration of the stay. While this didn't diminish our experience, it was an aspect we personally were not used to as we were traveling from the US. Overall he was quite helpful; it was just an adjustment to take into consideration another person at the property with our group. Overall we enjoyed this property and would recommend to fellow travelers.

We had a wonderful eight day stay in Kalina. Susheela was nothing but helpful and responsive to our needs. Neelkanth was a godsend. He went above and beyond to help us with our kids and ensure our stay was memorable. He cooked kichadi for our kids and took the time playing with them. We had about seven people staying in the apartment at one time and it was the perfect amount of space. We are so glad we found this listing and we would certainly come back on future trips to Mumbai!
