We came back to town for a funeral, and specifically looked for this listing because we had such a great experience over the holiday two weeks prior. Everything was up to the same excellent standards we experienced during our first stay, and we were grateful the space was available. Thank you to Linda and Rachel for hosting us again so soon, and making this part of our trip the easiest part to navigate.

We were lucky to find a place to stay that was very close to the neighborhoods where I grew up and my family still live. The rooms were quite spacious (which was good for my children), and they were incredibly clean and all the linens were freshly changed before we came. We stayed there over the Christmas holiday. It was a lovely touch that there were little Christmas trees with lights in our rooms - since my kids are young, Santa delivered half his presents under those trees and I'm grateful they were there. It helped to preserve the season for us even though we were so far from what the kids know as home. Also worth noting was that the weather was absolutely atrocious over this holiday (thanks 2022) and the wind chill was -26º; Linda came to the property personally during the winter storm to check on us and ensure everything was alright. Next time we go back to visit my family, we know the rooms are there, and plan on staying there in the future. Thank you for everything!
