We had a most memorable stay at Ollero. Arttu, Anni and their dad were such attentive and welcoming hosts. We felt immediately at home and the surrounding area was just beautiful with all the snow. We were a family of five with 2 kids and we really appreciated the igloo, sauna, jacuzzi and the bbq tent. We would love to go back one day to this magical place.

This was a spectacular and incredibly special stay. It was incredibly private, very cozy, and a wonderful experience for our whole family. We have four kids ranging from age six to ten. At Arttu’s place they got to snowshoe across a frozen lake, go sledding, and even see the northern lights! It was very well located to see all kinds of sights but honestly one of our favorite things to do on this trip was just hang at the place. Cannot recommend enough. Will never forget.

Absolutely perfect. LOCATION: The location is great - just 10 minutes outside of town but enough to feel secluded. We were able to get tours to pick us up from the house, and easily get taxis to/from town. No need to rent a car. ACTIVITIES: There are a ton of activities already on the property. We went snow showing, sledding, and utilized the amazing hot tub and sauna! We even saw auroras, which was super lucky as it had been cloudy all week. THE HOUSE: The main cabin is cozy, warm, and inviting. The sleeping rooms are quiet as well. But the true high is floor to ceiling window igloo. It’s great to sleep in, but even better to just relax in a warm space and stargaze. It’s completely private, and we even spotted some wildlife running across the frozen lake while we slept there! THE HOSTS: what can I say. They were responsive, kind, warm, and had amazing suggestions for activities! We love that it’s family run. All and all, our absolute high of our stay in Finland.

We had the trip of a lifetime with family here. The most beautiful location for our family to spend time together. Anni helped us arrange a husky safari and visit to a reindeer farm that were incredible. The panoramic sauna was so relaxing and beautiful. We had fun cooking on the open fire in the tent, as well as in the kitchen. We caught glimpses of the aurora from the glass igloo even though it was cloudy. One night the keypad to the igloo broke and we were locked out, but the family was very responsive and took great care of us. We were also traveling with our 4 year old and baby, and they both had a great time. Arttu had a travel crib ready for us, and our 4 year old loved the snow shoes and sleds. Highly recommend this as a place to spend time with people you care about in a magically beautiful setting.
