We wanted a villa with a big pool and with views over the rural Umbrian hills which is exactly what we got. Christina provided plenty of information in advance on places and restaurants to visit which proved really helpful. You will need a car to make your way around as there is not much within walking distance. Be aware that there is only aircon in one of the bedrooms but a cool breeze arrived every evening which helped to cool down the house. I can warmly recommend the villa for anyone enjoying a rural setting with proximity to amazing Italian towns, restaurants and other amenities via shorter car journeys.

Amazing far-reaching views, the best pool so big and clean. Great house very spacious and with great layout, very comfortable. We sat outside and stargazed in the evenings which was bliss and during the day spent time by the pool and visited the many wonderful hilltop towns. The owner's recommendations for places to visit and where to eat were spot on, restaurants very good and great value. The location although in the countryside very easy access to some stunning places. We had an amazing time and only wish that we could have stayed longer. Will most definitely be back! Thanks!

Lovely villa in very rural area of Umbria. Very spacious house plenty of room for family gathering. Magnificent pool. Only downside come prepared with anti mozzie sprays.

The villa is located in a beautiful setting and the facilities were as expected. The views were spectacular and the outside space was good. Unfortunately, the big problem was the mosquitoes, they plagued us from the first night. We took many precautions to minimise the issue which included citronella candles, repellent burners, sprays obtained in the UK and locally, as well as covering ourselves up. We were bitten far more than we have ever experienced before at similar rural locations. Our party of four must have had more than 300 bites between us; the record for one person being bitten was 44 on one night alone. We used the mosquito nets provided, and electronic repellant machines were going all night, but nothing seemed to work. After spending a night in Rome we came back to the villa and the torment began immediately. It was then that we decided we needed to move out to a hotel to try and rescue what remained of our holiday, we left the villa three days early. It was the best decision we made despite the additional cost we incurred. We moved to a semi-rural location and our party sustained a total of four bites over the remaining three days. If you can stand being attacked by mosquitoes then this is a lovely place, otherwise, be warned that your stay may become a battle of attrition. There is a note in the guest book from a previous guest that said that they could only stay by the pool in the morning as on afternoons and evenings the mosquitoes were too much.

Villa Quercia provided us with an ideal base for our time in Umbria and was well suited for a group of friends holidaying together. We liked the fact that it was in a relatively secluded position away from the main village but within easy reach of plenty of interesting places to visit. The scenery and views were magnificent with some very nice walks nearby. The accommodation was spacious and well laid out. We enjoyed the various terraces and seating areas and the fact that it was very easy to eat outdoors. The pool was not overlooked which meant that it was ideal for swimming and then relaxing afterwards. The pre-ordered meals from Giovanna were hugely appreciated and a great bonus. The villa had a lovely feel to it and we would be happy to return. Virus
