Mark and Susan are wonderful people and exceptional hosts. The Lazy Turtle is a beautiful property that is in the most stunning location, it really does recharge your soul. Eleuthera is an amazing island with such lovely people. Do read the information that Mark and Susan have provided; it’s so helpful and their recommendations are excellent (especially Stubbs barbecue 😋). If you are looking for a place to commune with nature, slow down and relax, this is an absolute gem, we can’t wait to return again. Thank you so much Mark and Susan, it was so lovey to meet you both and we look forward to seeing you again 😊

We absolutely recommend Mark and Susan's Airbnb home. This was our 2nd stay there, and we felt we got to know Susan better this trip. Such a lovely person! The Lazy Turtle is decorated and furnished beautifully - everything feels top notch. The views are gorgeous - especially from the 2nd floor master bedroom (ahh, the bed is so comfortable!) with its 2 walls of floor to ceiling windows. Such a great place to lay and watch the sunset turn the sky and sea lovely hues of pink and aqua. So many great amenities. We especially enjoyed the Beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, & ice packs! We really enjoy taking the kayaks out for a spin. And do you want to see sea turtles? They are literally right out front in the calm waters of the sea bay! We must have seen 20 in the week we were there. Read the guidebook carefully to get spot on suggestions. we heeded it more carefully on this second visit and were glad we did. You will love it!

We are beyond words for how perfect our trip to Eleuthera was from beginning to end. Mark and Susan are amazing humans and have a remarkable home that looks great in photos but to experience it first hand, is truly breathtaking! The location is perfect, with a beach and bay that we really only shared with the sea turtles and their Godfather, Jethro. After exploring each of the towns on the island and loving all of them, Gregory Town became our favorite and is a quick 15 minute drive from the Lazy Turtle. Please be respectful of this magical place as it is one of the few slices of paradise left that hasn't been overdeveloped. For the respectful adventurer, this is definitely the place for you and we wouldn't stay anywhere else on our next visit except for Lazy Turtle. Thank you Mark and Susan for everything, we are sending you lots of love and appreciation from Cleveland <3
