The Marbury is a lovely “estate”. Its vintage feel had my 91yo mother feeling right at home. It is cozy and has so much character. You can almost feel the history. The beds were extremely comfortable. The yard and lake were the icing on the cake. It was the perfect fit for our family of 12 ranging from 7 to 91 years old. The host was very responsive and helpful! We ended up having to leave a day early and she was even willing to give us a 50% refund for that additional day. I really appreciate her kindness.

It’s a great place to stay for large groups. We had 8 people total, never had an issue with hot water for any showers. Large house and very cool yard and access to water. We highly recommend.

This place has an amazing location! It’s like separated and hidden and felt like home. It is a nice place, it is a nice location. I really really loved this place. And I would go again!

DandeLion Lodge was ideal for our large family…coming in from many different locations and at different times, for a family wedding in Mobile. A peaceful retreat with beautiful surroundings, a beautiful river home with lots of charm and history…we enjoyed time in the home and on the water as well. Hosts were so accommodating and responsive. We look forward to returning when we’re back in Mobile!
