We do not to recommend to rent through Dancenter.The ceilings in 'our house' are not 'relatively low'. They are so low that we could not stand upright - nowhere in the house. The beams are at about 175cm. We got serious problems with the neck. Be AWARE: hidden costs which triple the costs of the stay. Cupboard in the kitchen and carpet in one sleeping room smells really nasty. Worst possible communication: No reaction to messages via Airbnb. No answer at all. When we arrived we didn't find the key, only a dark office and not even the slightest hint where to go or find a way into the rented house.There are five phone numbers on the confirmation and check-in papers. None of them is in Denmark. At four of them only an answering machine answers. We reached a very unfriendly person under the fifth no. She was in the Netherlands. After driving ten hours with two kids, no way to get into the house, no open hotel nearby (at 7.30 pm), no key anywhere, she proposed us to sleep in the car. Fortunately, we accidetally we met someone who had phoned them and told us that there must be a key deposited somewhere. He could not find anything and after some time we both found a dark not locked door in the back of the office building and there was a key. We arrived at 7.30 pm and got into the house at 9.20 pm. We sent three messages via Airbnb within the office hours announcing exactly our arrival date. No reply. If they had said we deposit the key somewhere we would have had a good start. So, we were really anxious we would either have to go back to mainland and find a hotel or sleep - as proposed to us - in the car. Certainly the person in Holland didn't know that it had 2 degree and over 60 km/h wind speed. We asked about an estimate of the electricity costs long before but they do not answer to messages via Airbnb. The cost are hidden in a scroll down menu in the 'description' section. They triple the costs of the stay. If you go in summer it might be ok. But there is electric heating only. I would be surprised it the cost for electricity are real costs in Denmark. They want to make money out of everything. Not what to expect on Airbnb. Cleaning is 120€, taking the garbage out (if you forget) is 25€, water costs extra, extra costs for bed linen and towels. One good thing: house is well equipped and it is a very nice island.
