Loved my six week stay in NOLA. The city is amazing and has so much to do in all the different parts! I’ve only begun my exploration and definitely need to come back to continue. NOLA does such a great job preserving their history and it’s seeping out of every corner. Nicole was an amazing host, just so kind and considerate! You can tell she also loves the city and is excited to share its beauty with you. I wish I had more time to hang out with her and learn everything, but I just need to keep coming back. The location of the house is actually very central and convenient, only 10-15 minutes from most parts and right next to major roadways. Having a car is very helpful. The neighbors are really nice and friendly, everyone greets you and asks how you are doing. I loved my time in New Orleans and I definitely plan to come back and most likely will try to stay here again!

clean and spacious! bed very noisy and uncomfortable. paid for a month but only stayed 3 days. When I asked her if I could put someone else in the room for the remaining days, she told me that she would speak to the owner and let me know. and she never did. by far the worst neighborhood I have ever been to. prostitutes start to walk up to your truck at a stop sign. my last night there, at least one person was shot and killed two blocks from her house, and the cops had the street blocked. lots of homeless people and baggers. drive by the place before booking.

Amazing host, great value. If you’re sensitive to incense/smoke, this might not be the best, but the host is accommodating and super helpful!

Nicole was a great host. She is knowledgeable, caring, and very efficient, while being respectful of your own activities in the house. I feel at home at her place, and I was able to do my work with my coauthors at the university during my one month stay with ease. I definitely recommend a stay at her cozy house, and would stay in this place again.

The neighborhood is sketchy, I had a 50% success rate getting Uber to pick me up, there was a tranny hooker at the end of the block. The check in process was easy, the host sends you the code. Not sure if pets live in the house or not, the listing says “pet friendly” in either case the severely allergic to cats and spent the night in the house and woke up with a swollen face. The sheets and towels are threadbare and stained or with tears/holes. The shower was clean. I did not use the kitchen but the main frig is broken and stinks with just the small amount of food left in it. The mini frig works. The host instructions ask you to remove shoes inside the house, but if you do that your feet pick up sand and hair, so I had to put mine back on.
