House was beautiful and right on the river. We caught several rainbow and brook trout during our stay. House was nice and quiet and had all of the amentities we needed.

As soon as we arrived there were already dead lady bugs on the floor through the entire house. After about the first 2 hours we figured out they were coming from the air vents. We closed all the vents and were able to deal with them for the rest of our trip. The property was awesome, the location was remote and right next to the water. Would stay again if the big problem gets taken care of.

We absolutely loved the CDR house! Very private and peaceful. The river was great for trout fishing! Will definitely go back!

My family and I had a great time while staying at Casa del Rio. When we arrived the house was super clean which I really appreciate. The hot tub was perfect. The house sits at the end of the road right on the banks of the flowing Hiawasee River, so it was very peaceful and relaxing. If you are looking for a break from the busy world, I highly recommend Casa del Rio. There is also plenty to do with the Nantahala National Forest (waterfalls, hiking trails and many picnic areas), Nantahala Outdoor Center and the Appalachian Trail all nearby. Enjoy!!

Best view ever and access to the river was amazing. Clean, comfy bed in master, easy to use hot tub.
