I base my review on what we look for in a rental mountain cabin...1st: Comfortable Bed-Pass 2nd: Wood Burning Fireplace-Pass 3rd: View-Pass....Remote & Private Location here and it is highly recommended to have a Truck or SUV as there are some large rocks you will come across on the way in. The final climb and sharp left turn is actually not to bad...just keep your vehicle in low gear on the way up. We had a AWD Hyundai Tucson and it made the drive there pretty easy, no issues. Gas heat at the cabin works wonderful, good showers and 3 bathrooms with a washer & dryer. Enjoyed sitting on the deck just taking in the awesome views. Can't go wrong here and the owner was quite helpful during our stay to answer any questions...Great place to stay and we would return again in the future...good value

Great views and very cozy place!! We made the most of a rainy weekend. The path up to the cabin was a bit difficult, but we made it up in a Tesla Model 3 with no major issue.

The way to the house was steeped and a road made in hell. The kitchen was dirty and not full equipped at all. No pets aloud but you see the food in the corner? The bed sheets were dirty and spots with blood (blanket). The dryer is scary with a lot of noise! The bed up at the vide needs a new mattress. Hunting season starts in the Great Smoky Mountains and you’ve a lot of barking hounds around your house. This was the first Airbnb house were I wasn’t comfortable at all. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Hilltop Hideaway is a little slice of heaven. The moment you walk onto the back deck you'll know you made te right decision in choosing this house. The house itself is spacious and a serene environment if your looking to spend a day indoors catching up on your favorite book or watching some TV. The back deck allows you the oerfect scenery to drink a cup of tea, coffee or wine and relax and in the front you can build a fire and wrap up in a blanket . close to enough towns with alot to do if you want to venture out for some fun. highly recommend andrews rail tour if you can make it. will definitely return in the future !
