Friendly, helpful host who made us feel very welcome. Parking great. Accomodation lovely and clean but let down by lots of minor mostly easily fixable things - excess items in kitchen cupboards so no storage for food. No bowl or drainer at sink and had to hunt for the sink plug. Huge cooker but couldn't find baking trays. Not much storage in the bedroom and much of it was filled with owners items, only 3 hangers. Shower great but nowhere to put towels or clothes and only one bath towel provided. Toilet room small and sink very low - not really comfotable to wash in here. Nice to have washing machine but nowhere to hang clothes to dry. Would not recommend for more than 2 people.

We waren voor de 2e keer in het huis van Ram en wederom beviel dit perfect. Het huis is netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Bovendien zorgde Ram voor een gevulde koelkast bij aankomst. Chatham is een prima uitvalsbasis voor veel leuke activiteiten in de omgeving. We komen zeker weer terug!

Parking is good, right next to the place. I was welcomed on arrival and shown around the place. Chocolate and nibbles were provided. The heating needed to be turned on when I arrived and it took some hours to warm up. The place has a separate shower room, fairly small and warm. The kitchen is OK, huge doble oven- gas hob and electric oven - slow to heat up so I used the hob only. There is a washing machine but no facility to dry your clothes. Lots of plates/cups etc but no spare space for your provisions. There is a fridge/freezer. Worktop and stools, no table. Bedroom - double bed, soft, some hangers on a stand, a few drawers and a mirror but nothing to sit on when using it, bedside cabinets (2). There is a small lounge room with a TV and a couch that opens to a bed. I opened it but it was hard to do. I slept in the lounge as the bedroom was a bit noisy with local traffic sounds. The loo is by the entrance, small with a little sink quite low down. The boiler is in there.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Ram. Prima en centrale locatie op een uurtje rijden vanaf Londen. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en komen zeker een keer terug!
