This is by far one of the best Airbnb's I've used. Quirky 'glamping' and exactly as described. Chris was in contact from a few days before, answering the numerous questions I had. The first being that I'd missed there wasn't electricity to the accommodation!. This did not matter at all, there were plenty of solar lights (and a solar USB charger). There is a Gas hob to make that all important morning cuppa! Chris left us fresh eggs from the chickens on site, replenished our ice packs in the cool box he provides and kept in touch throughout our stay. This is an amazing place to stay, our only regret is we didn't stay longer. We'll definitely return when in the area next.

Friendly host met us and showed us around. Great location looking over rolling fields and hills. Although on a farm, not too many farm noises or animals to bother city folk. No bright lights so if you’re a stargazer, here’s the place. 5 minutes to Richmond. 5 minutes to Scotch Corner. Really good location.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend staying in the tent. We spent each night sitting around the fire pit for hours talking, roasting marshmallows and having a fantastic time. There is so much field space that we all loved. We took various games such as cricket, badminton sets, footballs, bikes, a kite etc and had lovely family time playing with these. Also helped that the children could play whilst we enjoyed a cheeky drink around the campfire. The safari tent was really comfy to sleep in, we all had some fantastic nights sleep and the shower was so powerful you felt very refreshed and clean after using it. On Saturday we chose to spend the morning at Mainsgill farm, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast then the children played in the play area whilst we shopped in their farm shop for things for our bbq. We then enjoyed the animals there (all for free) before returning to spend the afternoon at the tent. On Sunday we enjoyed a nice walk around Richmond before going for an amazing sunder lunch at the Shoulder of mutton. Delicious. The host Chris was very friendly and contactable if needed. We would definitely recommend this weekend to unwind, relax and spend some quality time together and we are hoping to return another time. Thank you for having us 😊 (4 adults and 2 children)

What a great place to stay and the host Chris was very accommodating, great communication from him. The tent is bigger then I thought and its beautiful with a hot powerful shower! We recommend the Bishops Blaize pub in Richmond for a lovely pub lunch and wackadayz soft play for when the weather is rubbish but you want to get out with your little ones. All in all a good weekend for us! Deffo somewhere to return when the weather is a little nicer and warmer! 3 little tips/ things to note for families with little kids. 1. no light in the shower area so shower the kids before dark, not an issue if you know and remember. 2. No fire guard around the log fire if you'll be using it so keep an eye on the inquisitive ones of the family. 3. If you are using the fire the wood is an extra cost :)

Dale 2 Swale glamping was an absolutely fantastic experience. The tent was very spacious with more than enough room for 6 people. The girls loved the cabin bed with fairy lights. The small touches made all the difference with fairy lights, led candles, hot water bottles and blankets along with the Halloween decorations, not forgetting the welcome bottle of wine! Would definitely recommend.
