Great for walking, there are bridle paths and footpaths from the farm. You can walk to Slapton Lea nature reserve in @20mins, the largest freshwater lake in the south west which runs alongside Slapton sands, a 2 mile long shingle beach, the closest to the farm and on the south west coast path. Bird watchers, nature lovers and photographers will all enjoy the nature reserve. To walk from the farm to the beach is @1hr including bridle path, road and then footpath around the ley.
Discover Slapton, a small village full of individual character architecture and chocolate box cottages. The Queens Arms pub is a popular destination offering traditional pub food and beverages, we like to walk there and stop off for a drink. There is also the iconic Tower Inn in Slapton and scrummy fish and chips in the Start Bay Inn, Torcross. There are lots of other great eateries in the villages near by.
A fantastic location for discovering the south hams and loads of local beautiful beaches. We like Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands and Beesands all shingle and closest; Mill bay and East Portsmouth opposite Salcombe Harbour are sandy with estuary views; other top beaches include Bigbury, Bantham, and Thurlestone with large sandy beaches, Hope Cove, and Soar Mill cove.
Pittaford farm is 15mins drive to Kingsbridge or Dartmouth, great local towns for food and shopping and estuary views!
Woodlands Family theme park is 15 mins away.

Historical Military WW2 Tank at Torcross is worth finding out about, a memorial to the Allied soldiers and recovered from the sea after the D Day landing training.
Start Point Light House - you can visit and go inside.
We are close to the South West Coast path, which is always spectacular for views.
