Lovely, older, cozy home. Mary was extremely responsive and there is a detailed folder in the house including directions and suggestions for restaurants and activities. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. It was easy to get to Wyalusing State Park in Wisconsin and Pikes Peak State Park in Iowa. Check out the nearby town of McGregor; they just renovated Main Street.
It was a nostalgic, sweet cottage that met our needs. Love that it had a king bed as that is what we are used to. Very, very clean and tastefully decorated giving a home away from home feeling. It is very well stocked with supplies, especially the kitchen. The host did a great job with details such as special washcloths for makeup, extra plug ins for electronics, and supplying games, etc.. Absolutely love the family photos displaying the history of the home. I would highly recommend and would return.
The Craftsman bungalow was a nice little house. You could tell that it had been a special home to the family for many years. The family photos were very cute and made it feel very home like. There is also so much to do in this area. If you have never been here, check out the nearby State Parks, National Monuments and, of course, the Great River. When we arrived, we had a couple little issues. I called Mary, and she and her team got right on it and did the best they could to correct the problems. Houses always have little issues, and Mary did an excellent joy as a responsive host.
Extremely well kept place ,excellent location , pics hanging inside from probly the 40-60s that showed the way it was , very cool property.
This little cottage was exactly what we needed in our vacation for a family of four. We were happy to be able to snap this up fairly last minute. The property was exactly as it was presented in the photos and I appreciated the history of the place being in the family for so long. I was initially apprehensive about being so close to the casino, but you honestly don't even know it's there, because the house is up a hill and deep into a residential neighborhood (conversely if you are looking to book something close, it's easily walkable to the casino and the down town of Marquette).
