We had a lovely time away. The cottage was beautiful along with the surrounding area. It was quiet and private. The cottage was big enough for 2 of us, had most necessities. Although we were not provided with any toilet paper... not a huge issue as there is a shop located about 10 minutes away. The books provided lots of information such as restaurants and shops that were local which was helpful The hot tub was very nice but I wasn't over keen on the camera that is directly pointed at it but I understand for safety reasons why it might be there. There was a hole in the duvet cover and some dust hanging from the ceiling but overall it was clean and welcoming. The communication via email was clear and effective. I would stay again

This place is lovely & we spent 6 nights there however a few things could be easily improved upon to make this the place it could be. For 6 nights 2 toilet rolls & 2 towels isn’t enough. The washing machine doesn’t work so you can’t wash the towels either which was disappointing. The bath leaked which made it an ornament because every time you ran it there was a puddle to clear up & it’s got under the tiles. The bathroom door handle stopped working which considering it’s an en suite really isn’t ideal for privacy, appreciate it could be bad timing but it just adds to the list of not ideals. And finally on the day we were checking out there was a man cleaning the hot tub at 8am without any kind of notice even though we weren’t due to check out until 10. the place is completely secluded so to have somebody walking around outside without even being told to close your curtains is out of order. There’s also a horribly placed camera over the hot tub that very intrusive.

Really lovely cottage - really clean and spacious. The hot tub is private and a very nice touch. The only issue we had is that it is about a 40 min drive from Windermere/ Coniston so it was quite difficult to access walks/ restaurants.
