This was one of our favorite AirBnB stays. The house was beautifully decorated and cozy. Incredible amenities provided by a wonderful host. She set up a travel crib for us and even same age appropriate toys and a night light. Our kids (5 and 2) did not want to leave because they were having the best time.

Check in was seamless and easy, Elizabeth was very welcoming and responsive. We had several travel delays and did not get to the property until late at night and by that time finding it was a little hard, but that was our fault. Make sure you read the description in its entirety. This house is truly only suited for 2 adults, which she states. The house was clean and well stocked and we loved listening to the rain hit the sky lights, it was so calming! Only took a star off because the only bathroom is in the master bedroom so if anyone else in the house needs to go to the bathroom, especially in the middle of the night, you have to walk past whoever is sleeping in the bed. Otherwise, very charming, historic property and a stunning little neighborhood!

Thanks so much for having us! This cottage is so CUTE!!! Built in 1825 I believe, feels like you’re stepping back in time, but still so nice, stylish, and comfortable. We loved all the little touches like the little suitcase record player and all the sweet old books. And our kids loved the upstairs loft room with the fun teepee. Such a fun and campy vibe throughout. Elizabeth was so kind and responsive and left us alone to enjoy our weekend. Located right in the beautiful historic district surrounded by other stunning old homes. A short drive to good bars, restaurants, shops. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back. Thanks again for having us. We really appreciate it. :)

The home is an excellent choice for proximity to downtown Summerville. The property is a grand old home that has been perfectly updated with all modern amenities. The second floor is especially suited for kids and teenagers. Definitely will be high on the list to re-rent if we're in the Summerville area again.

The cottage was cute and intimate, but no privacy. The blinds (shades )down in the home still show inside the entire home, even in the bedrooms. We kept them pulled down, but as we drove up one night, we noticed they were completely transparent. I didn’t feel exactly comfortable about that at all, especially, since the owner of the property stayed on property. We didn’t feel comfortable at all. The beds we’re comfortable, and the bathroom was really clean. I would recommend more comfortable seating in the living room, but our overall experience was okay. I recommend this place if you’re okay with no privacy and really don’t care if someone can see directly through the windows.
