Since air bnb became a thing I’ve only stayed in Airbnbs and this one was by far THEE ABSOLUTE BEST! The deisgn was so well thought out and the interior was beautiful ! Very very very clean and perfect for us 5! Was even more impressed with Ms Phyllis’s personality and hospitality! She’s like the cool auntie! I highly highly highly recommend !

Clean and fresh! The apartment had plenty of towels and linens. The space is cutely decorated. Most important, the AC worked like a champ in the heat of the Kentucky summer. Phyllis was available to answer questions, while respecting our privacy. Overall, a great experience!

The Red Barn stay in Eddyville, Kentucky had all the little extras you need while traveling. The essential things that we don’t pack were all there – shampoos, soaps, flour, sugar, coffee, creamer, all the basic kitchen utensils, extra blankets, games. Phyllis was a true hostess with a tray of brownies and a bottle of wine setting on the table to greet us. She had no problem when I asked to change the dates of the stay. Plenty of parking if you are traveling with a boat or trailer. The house was also very clean – VERY clean – spotless. The only frustrating part of this stay was that the AirBnB site did not have the location of the house listed correctly, therefore the directions to the place were not correct. The Red Barn is 10 miles from where it says it is on the site. I hope this is fixed because The Red Barn was a great place to stay.
