Stunning location at what feels like the edge of the world! Beautiful interiors & even better sunrise views, walks, swims and the temple nearby were lovely. Refreshing to be with more locals instead of the crowded tourist areas too!

Ricky’s place is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The beach is idyllic and you’re surrounded by nature. You can walk into town if you fancy a night out and if not, stay on the terrace looking out to sea. I couldn’t have hoped for a better spot and could’ve stayed forever!

Sunyata is gorgeous: extremely peaceful and intentional in design. The ethos of simplicity and design integrity is very clear. It was very handy having Madu on call to help with house stuff. The only things I would note are that, firstly, the studio space in the pictures was closed off and unavailable and, secondly, you might need to build some relationships with tuktuk drivers as there aren’t always some at the beach. It was a very sweaty 25 min walk into Hiriketiya so we relied on tuktuks. Love the space though. Very special few days. The ambience was divine.
