Big picture windows in public rooms give fantastic views down the fjord. This is a family house and you see evidence of the family throughout. Well appointed kitchen but often difficult to find what you need in amongst everything.

There were pros and cons about this place, but the pros win. The views are incredible and can be seen from almost everywhere. The location on a country lane is peaceful and quaint. The negatives were a broken toilet seat; some listed amenities not present or available (I.e., no hot tub [just a bathtub], fireplace not available for use, tv only in kid’s bedroom with only a twin bed for seating, no dedicated work place, no clothes dryer). Also, the place was reasonably clean but not quite perfectly clean (a little dusty and some clutter). Also, communication was decent but could be better. The second night we were there we arrived home late after dinner and there was a car parked in the spot where we were directed to park by the owners. It was nerve wracking bc we thought someone might be inside. I messaged the owner and she responded it was her car and she and was in the house next door. Weird to have the owners so close without being told this. Overall, pros outweigh the negatives.
