The house was perfect! Relaxing and so peaceful on the water. Clean, convenient, great host Helena had every amenity you would need. We will be back!

The house was as described. We were there for over 30 days. It was well equipped, and the host was very responsive. The home is really not for long stays. The closets were full of stuff and hanging our clothes was difficult. Also, the dresser drawers were packed with items. That did not leave a lot of room for us. Would not be a problem for short stays, but definitely an issue for anyone there for a long period. The Pink house across the canal was very loud--day and night. Music blaring, swearing, and arguments. The police were even there at one time. Not very relaxing! We enjoyed our time in Hudson. We just would have liked a home that was quieter and more prepared for long term stays.

Helenas place was exactly as described. It also had anything and everything you need for a short or lengthy vacation ( and I mean everything). Helena was a great host and was always responded with a friendly message or joke. I really enjoyed messaging her. The place is well spaced out and on a canal. The sunrise is beautiful and you can sit by the water on a dock or a platform over the water. I did manage to see one dolphin while i was there. Lots of fish seemed to be jumping. The area is nice and quiet and seems to be a mix of full time and part time owners. very quiet. All in all, a nice place to stay. I would recommend it

Airbnb is my preferred method of travel, when you check in, it usually takes a bit to get comfortable. At Helena's I instantly felt at home. My husband and son had a similar experience. I don't know if it had something to do with the layout of furniture, how clean it was or how it was decorated. I usually travel with my own cooking utensils because most places do not have the correct pans to cook a meal from scratch. This home had it all. The beds were so comfortable that on the first day of our stay I couldn't get anyone out of them to go have fun with me :) The back porch is cozy and the deck over the water was relaxing and it was fun watching the fish jump out of the water. The fenced yard kept my cairn terrier (short 18 pound dog) happy and safe. She exclaimed, " a roo roo roo." which means "Mom, can we come back here sometime?" It was so affordable we almost didn't book it - so glad we did. We will return the next time we are in the area.
