We loved our stay at Durwin and Shelleys house. The house is just as described, had everything we could need and more. Great location to explore the local area. Durwin and Shelley were quick to respond to any questions we had and were great hosts. I would definitely recommend and would love to go back too :)

Thank to Shelly and Durwin. We had an amazing stay. The property was ample in size and facilities to accommodate our group - 8 adults and 1 child. Plenty of space and equipment. Everything a large family group could need for a comfortable, relaxing Christmas Break. The seasonal decorations were an unexpected touch that made our stay feel festive and homely. We will be back!

Fantastic find!!! Set in the idyllic village of Avoca, there was so many beautiful walks to do. The house itself was of a very high standard, extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were surprised a how big it was. The 5 double bedrooms were so comfortable - beds felt like those you'd find in a quality hotel. All condiments, tea, coffee, shower gel etc. were already there when we arrived which was so helpful. Shelley and Durwin were the perfect hosts and checked in with us regularly both before and during our stay. Highly recommend!

Everyone in our party loved the stay in Avoca. There was lots of room to stretch out, entertain and rest up. The village is quaint with a decent pub (Fitzgerald’s) and general store and the Avoca Weavers are only a block away. We also day tripped to the beach and to a lovely botanical garden. For food I recommend the Wicklow Brewery. Minor quibbles include: no electric coffee pot and an alarm going off at 2 am. A very happy stay overall and I thank our hosts. -Paul C.

We had a fantastic time at Durwin and Shelley's. The house is beautiful and it's in perfect conditions. It looks even better than the photos! The conservatory and the garden are beautiful, the rooms are very spacious. The hosts were always responsive and very friendly, we had no issues at all. Avoca is a beautiful place, would definitely like to come back and hopefully stay here again!
