We spent Christmas at Sarah's place with our extended family, we had a great stay. The house was spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating all our family members. As a really nice touch, Sarah put out a Christmas tree and a bunch of decorations, making us feel like we were at home. Even with some challenging weather, the house was warm and cosy, it was also at the end of a gated street so safe for kids to play outside. We did manage to get to the nearby beach a few times as well, which was beautiful. A great spot for a peaceful getaway with a large group!

10 mins not 5 walk from beach. Not enough hot water for 2 people never mind 9-Sarah’s elderly father had to arrange a plumber who never turned up, a wasted morning. Sarah’s dad did give us a part refund and apologised-we’d prefer a satisfactory house rather than money. Dirty tap water-black bits in it (dirty water tank?) Towels smelled like bonfires. Some Ceiling lights not working. Dog poo all over drive. Black mould on shower doors & grout-no shelves/toothbrush holders/hooks, 2 of the toilets with faulty cisterns. No locks on doors. Dangerous electrics-plug socket dangling from ceiling in living room. Old worn out pots and pans, random crap mugs free with Easter egg type/old personalised mugs. Not enough glasses, a few small ones & some pint glasses from a pub. Washing machine not working, someone came out. Pillows poor quality-only 2 in our bedroom-one spare in wardrobe had a dirty cover & spare quilt had no cover and was old, smelly & stained. Tv in bedroom unusable.

The house is in a great location about 10 minutes walk from the beach. We had a few issues during our stay with the showers breaking, getting enough hot water, and the washing machine breaking and Sarah was very helpful in trying to sort these out. The house could do with some updating and not all of the windows have proper curtains, but I know Sarah is looking to fix these. Overall we enjoyed our stay but felt we paid quite a lot for it.

We had an excellent stay in Brittas, house was great for extended family with different age kids, lots of space for everyone and comfortable kitchen and dining area for meals and generally a good layout and atmosphere. One thing to note is that (in summer anyway) the bedrooms are very bright as the curtains don’t extend up to the full height of the windows. This might make naps and mornings tricky if you have young kids. But other than this would highly recommend Sarah’s place

We had a super 5 nights in Sarah's lovely home in Brittas Bay. It's walking distance s stunning beach and the house was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable for our family. I would highly recommend Sarah as a host as we had no issues whatsoever. Thanks for a lovely stay. We look forward to returning again in the future.
