The cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway from the city. Shelby (the host) was very accommodating. There was a small snow storm in the middle of our stay, and Shelby offered an additional night at no cost for safety purposes. The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was pretty easy to start up the fireplace/oven, we were grateful as this kept us warm throughout our stay. A large quantity of wood was left for us in the shed (located conveniently behind the cabin back door), which came in handy since it snowed quite a bit. Aside from exploring the national forest, we spent a lot of time lounging, watching movies, and playing board games inside. Despite no WiFi, we had no problem making phone calls and sending text messages from our own cellular network throughout the cabin. A lot of blankets were provided, and the shower water was very warm (we didn’t run out of hot water during the stay). The bed was very clean/comfortable. I’d love to visit for another stay.

This is our second time staying at Shelby's cabin. It is so peaceful-I really enjoyed keeping the fire going in the wood stove. My partner enjoyed the outdoor bath too. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up in the morning. Really great to unplug and just listen to some good music on the record player. We always appreciate Shelby's local tips-this time we went to the hot springs and did a nice hike close to the cabin. There was still some snow on the ground up there which was nice. Such a special area....we will be back.

Cute spot, beautiful and peaceful scenery. The neighbors were very nice. Very cozy bed!

This cabin in Wofford Heights is a gem, especially if you like chopping your own wood! Shelby communicated with us very thoroughly and her directions made the area easy to navigate. Would definitely stay here again.
