Everything was fine apart from cleanliness
We loved our stay! The house was beautiful, modern and clean. The view was stunning and we loved the suburb of Jack’s Point. It was super peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown, and we felt very safe. I’d highly recommend this place, it was just perfect.
Jack's Point retreat is a lovely quiet area 20 minutes from Queenstown. The house was beautiful, modern and comfortable for our family of 5. We did have a bit of difficulty finding the property as there are two different addresses (one within the other), so would highly recommend arriving before dark to avoid this, as there is no outdoor street lighting. Since we stayed in Summer, the property did get quite warm from the floor to ceiling windows. Note there is only air-conditioning upstairs and no centralised duct system, consistent with most NZ homes. You will be sent pre-arrival documentation which one should read carefully. One point is that amenities are only provided as a start, and you will need to buy additional items required yourself. This in addition to extra cleaning and rubbish bag surcharges unfortunately did not align with the relaxing/luxurious holiday experience this Airbnb presents.
Wonderful house, scenery and location if you have a car exploring the area.
Great experience, beautiful private location that suits 2 or 3 couples looking for a serene and peaceful location to stay, come back from exploring QT. The place is well appointed and styled nicely. The photos do not do the views justice out to Ben Lemonde. There is a great cafe and bar a short walk down the slope. Note to families with small kids, there is no bath or outdoor enclosed area. The house could suit them but something to be aware of. All of us loved the place.
