Kervin and Kendra are wonderful quiet hosts that stay out of your way but also available if you'd like to meet. They stayed up to welcome us -- which I thought was rare with hosts today & which I appreciated. Our son was in kid heaven with all the toys they had available for him to play with and wholesome books for him to read :) So for being family friendly, I'd rate this space an A+. The amenities are as advertised with such a large space all to yourself, you feel like you're in a big house. They also have plenty of local recommendations for various activities so you can take advantage of what the area has to offer. We had a great time at Kevin and Kendra's home. Mostly slept because we had made the trip up from New Brunswick to move my mom into retirement home in Arthur. It was close by to where we needed to go and visit. Very close to Arthur, Fergus, Elora, and Guelph. There is a great restaurant in Alma called the The Right Spot Restaurant Baked Goods, has great pizza. Also another restaurant in Elora, Gorge Country Kitchen is always an amazing eatery too. The pies at both places are amazing. We enjoyed our stay for this very fast turn around trip from NB to ON. Thank you for our accommodations. I really loved the quilts on the beds too.

Kervin and Kendra have an amazing space. The hosts are just a msg away and they had brochures available if you needed more suggestions. The space is spacious and clean with a kitchen and ample living space. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and hot tub which were a great way to relax after a long day of sight seeing. We were only two people but it accommodates 4 and even then there would be plenty of room. Overall, great space , great location and was the cherry on top of a relaxing trip. Would definitely stay again .

A beautiful, comfortable, spacious retreat. Sounds of well-behaved children playing happily were not an issue any time of day. All special requests were accommodated. East access to a trail and park. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Would happily go back. Many thanks, Kervin & Kendra, for sharing your lovely home.

It was a great place and the host was friendly including her 2 sweet little girls. There was lots of room and very clean. We were away for most of the the day but enjoyed the evening there playing cards with my sisters. No TV or alcohol was not a problem for us. Being in the basement it was to be expected that the little ones playing above was a bit noisy but was extremely quiet once they were in bed. All together it was a great stay!o My only concern was an exit besides the stairs in case of an emergency. Only 2 windows, one in the kitchen and a small one very high in the bathroom at the other end of the basement from the garage and kitchen.
