Bad experience. When we arrived, one bed was soaked from an active leak in the ceiling that must have been dripping onto the bed for a while. I understand these things can happen but Sonder was very slow to respond and did not send anyone to fix the leak until the next day. On person ended up sleeping on the floor that night. In general, the communication was poor and the response time was slow. They did not give any notification or time for when someone would be arriving to fix the leak and change the bed. Apparently someone did show up while we were out for the day, but we only learned about this because there were new sheets on the bed when we returned in the afternoon. There were no messages about the leak being fixed or someone entering the apartment. The customer service appears to be outsourced because you never talk to the same person. I asked for a partial refund and only received $100 credit for my next stay but that is useless as I won't be staying with Sonder again.

Sonder is not a person but rather a management firm. Though they were responsive we had to contend with responses from half a dozen different people and explain our situation each time. The street address provided does not exist on the street. Rather, the entrance is behind the building in a dark alley by dumpsters and - while we were there - had to navigate around a construction tractor and hole to get to the threshold. We were also told to park several blocks away as Sonder said they have a special arrangement with a pay parking garage. We don’t know what arrangement as we paid full price. Once in, the place was nice enough but bare bones uncomfortable furniture. Beds were fine. Geographic location was excellent. If Sonder Corp. had simply communicated precisely about where the entrance was and that there’s pay parking right behind the building, we would have prepared, adjusted and given a higher rating. Instead we were left to hunt for the back alley entrance.

Great location. Yes a little loud but read the reviews before booking. We enjoyed it.
