This coastal rental property is situated on the Bay of Fundy within feet of the worlds highest tides! This 4 bedroom is renovated to the highest style and standards and is ideally located for retreat or day trips up and down the charming Annapolis valley to the beautiful vineyards, golf courses and live theatre and much more. This property is suitable for families with teenage children or a party of adults wanting to holiday together. The sunsets are incredible and unique each evening. Situated in the historic fishing village of Margaretsville, this lovely house was also known as "Dr. Hall's House" which has a rich history of amazing life stories. This century house has been completely renovated and ready for your "Baycation" It has a bright clean kitchen and warm dining room. All 4 bedrooms are on the upper level. The "Captains" room has a King size bed, 2nd room has 2 doubles, the 3rd has a single trundle and the 4th room has a Queen size bed. The backyard has a little forest, an old "fish shack" a fire pit and a horseshoe pit, with the Lighthouse in view. Just around the corner you can visit and purchase art by talented local artists at the "Art Shack". You can also visit the "Boat House" and learn more about the marine history of Margaretsville. There is also a wonderful theatre called the "Evergreen theatre" where you can can take in a live show, the talent is always refreshing and very enjoyable. Make sure to make a reservation @ the Dock of the Bay Cafe, the cuisine is always quite delicious. At the end of a day exploring, you can enjoy sitting around an evening fire while relaxing under the breath taking galaxy of stars.

Catharine and Clint are excellent hosts; they made us feel at home. They treated us like family, checking on us, bringing us cucumbers from the garden, fresh eggs, lots of treats and books for the kids. They are very thoughtful and kind. The place is beautiful and clean, with comfortable beds and good vibes in it, peaceful. The neighbours are lovely and so friendly, and the sunsets are beautiful. I highly recommend their place, and we hope to return for more adventure! Thank you again, Catharine and Clint. We had a wonderful time!
Wow! Catharine and Clint are Super, Super hosts! My family received a warm and friendly welcome. The newly renovated homestead was stunning. It had everything we needed and more to make pleasant summertime memories by the bay. Fresh flowers, wood for a night time fire in the fire pit and a bountiful welcome basket greeted us. The location had amazing ocean views and sunsets. We want to come back for more!
Catharine and Clint are very attentive hosts. Always available to assist with an questions through the booking process and during our stay. They even dropped by with fresh eggs cucumbers from their own chickens and garden. Located in Margartsville so great location for day trips to Annapolis Valley, Annapolis Royal, Wolfville, Digby, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay. Quiet location and friendly neighbours. We had a lovely stay at Catharine’s house in Margaretsville. It was very clean, comfortable and wonderfully welcoming. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and dining area too. It was a great size home for our family!
We really appreciated our stay at C&C. The house is big and perfect for a family. If you are old and less mobile you would struggle with the stairs as they are quite steep, but that is standard in older houses like this. Well equipped kitchen and really attentive hosts. All in all - top grade

Check out the old Lighthouse open on weekends. The Art Shack, Boat House and The Dock of the Bay Café` which is a wonderful spot with a beautiful view of the Bay, the Wharf and the village, the food is fantastic and reasonably priced.
You'll need a vehicle to get around and do your exploring outside of the village.
The wharf and beach access is approximately a 10 minute walk away.
