Wally is an amazing host. Even before conforming my stay, he reached out to make sure the place would be perfect for me. He was quick to respond to any questions. Went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. He is a super host and highly recommend.

Our stay at Wally’s “love shack” cabin made for such a fun, adventurous weekend! Situated on a working horse farm, you are secluded enough to have your own private oasis but lucky enough to have Wally right up the path incase you need him- which we did multiple times thanks to the weather. The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable, and comes with a serene view into the woods. Wally was kind enough to leave a few beers in the fridge and a gift bag of natural soap & raw honey for us upon arrival. Wally also had a TON of local recommendations which we gladly followed & were so happy with. Honorable mentions for Gaby’s Cafe in Ellentown & Arrowood Farms Brewing in Accord!! We experienced Minnewaska State Park and it was breathtaking. Definitely check out Wally’s love shack for a blissful, grounding weekend in the mountains. Set away from the hustle & bustle but not far from many fun things to do. You won’t regret having s’mores around the fire with Wally & his family (if you choose)!

Where to begin? Everything about this weekend was fantastic and I have Wally and his mini home to thank! Firstly, the location itself was perfect, it is a bit secluded but your not too far from civilization. My favorite part was waking up every morning and looking out to the beautiful view and sometimes horses too! Wally had a plethora of nearby suggestions, and was extremely responsive. We were so grateful for Wally’s Minnewaska State Park Pass, it was such a beautiful sight and we were so lucky to have seen it. The space was so comfortable and had exactly everything you need, it was so cosy and comfortable we just had to stay an extra day than originally planned. Additionally there were so many cute towns near by with lots of things to do and places to see, a personal favorite of mine was Rosendale, it was full of beautiful rose murals and cute shops and restaurants. I am so happy we found Wally’s place and I hope to be back in the future, we had such an unforgettable time!🥰

We had a lovely time. The 1-room cabin is so cozy and the view into the forest was deeply relaxing. Wally's farm is beautiful and there were great places to eat in the area (we enjoyed the honey stand next door and a nearby brewery). We really liked closing out our day with the fire pit. Wally was a great host, very accessible and welcoming.

We loved our stay in Wally’s cabin!! It’s on a beautiful horse farm with incredible views and near a lot of great food options. Highly recommend Stony Kills Falls for a hike.
